Tenor Paul Appleby just closed his season singing Belmonte at The Metropolitan Opera with maestro James Levine conducting.  He is about to take on the role of Benedict in the Glyndebourne production of Berlioz’s Béatrice et Bénédict – part of their commemoration of the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death.  Full article here.
