Countertenor Daniel Cabena featured in Opera Canada Magazine

The fall issue of Opera Canada features Canadian Countertenor Daniel Cabena in a piece by John Gilks.

…Cabena is more focussed on contemporary music. This summer, for example, he appeared with l’Orchestre de la Francophonie in the premiere of L’horreur de constater qu’on nous oubliera, a song cycle for countertenor and orchestra by Stacey Brown to texts by Bertrand Laverdure. Current projects include a theatre piece to mark the 30th anniversary of the Air india bombing, air india [redacted] [was] presented in November by Vancouver’s Turning Point Ensemble…Also, on his schedule this season is Les feluettes (Lilies), a co-production of Opéra de Montréal and Pacific Opera Victoria that has its world premiere in Montrea next May
