Benjamin ‘Bowman reflects on ‘exhilarating’ first season as Met Opera concertmaster’
Benjamin Bowman spoke to The Brandon Sun, his hometown paper, about his new position at The Metropolitan Opera.
When asked to reflect on his career highlights, Benjamin Bowman said it was a tough question to answer, as his career is linear and cumulative. “Sure, winning first prize at the Brandon fair fiddling contest when I was nine was a moment I’ll never forget, as was my audition for The Metropolitan Opera.
